Nate Dogg was the most prominent of a long list of brilliant vocalists affiliated with Death Row Records. Even so, I’ve always felt that he never really got the respect that he deserved. G Funk Classics, his first album, had a lot of brilliant stuff on it. But it was released well after Death Row’s heyday so it has been largely forgotten.

This, my favorite Nate Dogg song, is dedicated to him.
R.I.P. brother.
